Shiso (or perilla) is a traditional Japanese spice with an exotic and slightly minty aroma and the beautiful, one meter high plant amazes with its purple leaves and rose blossoms. Shiso contains a lot of vitamin A and vitamin C and is used to season Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura or umeboshi. The leaves are also the basis for aromatic herbal mustard or a pesto.

Aka Shiso is a fruity, sweetish and light liqueur made from red shiso that ecstasies with its natural colour. Refreshing, promising and mild in the nose. Earthy, minty and naturally fruity in the palate with notes of dark berries, cassis, anise and liquorice. An easy to drink aperitif with low alcohol content.
