In the first moment Kozaemon Yamahai Junmai surprises with a cheesy, floral and fresh bouquet combined with notes of cooked fruit, a subtle citrus freshness (lime), lime blossom as well as almond paste and it is reminiscent of gingerbread.
It follows again unexpected flavours of onions, spinach and cloves combined with a subtle pungency in the palate. Aromatic-fiery, rather rough, fresh, spicy and with a slight bitterness (citrus peel) this sake whets the appetite.

Kozaemon Yamahai Junmai - brewed according to the traditional yamahai method - convinces with intense, earthy flavours, is a veritable taste expedition and due to a lot of umami the ideal companion to hearty dishes.
