The Yamabuki 1994 is, as its name suggests, a vintage sake, skillfully matured and a true masterpiece for tasting.
This complex koshu (English: old sake) is a strong, intense and at the same time immensely harmonious sake, with a seductive, fully matured bouquet. In the nose captivating notes of dried fruits such as apple, pear, fig as well as nut, caramel, honey and cocoa powder to dry leaves, herbs as well as fresh, dried mushrooms and seaweed.
On the palate this well-balanced sake reminds of an Amontillado Sherry and spoils with a soft, delicate aroma, a fresh and lively acidity and a salty spice, rounded off by a sharp, piquant and at the same time sweet-sweet finish.
The Yamabuki 1994 can be enjoyed for several weeks after opening.

Irasshaimase in the master class.
